Dedication - For every Cavoodle who just wants to be near the ones they love, and every owner learning to help them find peace in solitude.
The first time I noticed the worry in my Cavoodle’s eyes, it was so small I almost missed it. A pause at the door. A soft whine. The quick patter of paws following me from room to room as if my shadow had learned to breathe.
At first I called it sweetness. Cavoodles are loving by nature, and I thought the constant closeness was just part of their charm. But then the cries began when I left the house, and the sound stayed with me long after I had gone.
It hurt to hear that little voice on the other side of the door. I wanted to soothe it instantly, to promise that I would never leave again, but I knew love alone would not teach my dog how to be safe in solitude.
So this journey became about more than training. It became about understanding a heart that loved too deeply to settle easily, and about learning how to give that love the confidence to rest.
